Whistle While You Work

I have been working quite a bit lately. I have not been whistling the whole time but I have been known to bust out a tune.

I have a question. Why do people you have not heard from for years start coming out of the walls around the holidays. Don't get me wrong. I like to hear from people especially those that I have not heard from in some time. I would just prefer that they spread it out so that I can enjoy reconnecting all year long. That would also allow me to better savor each renewed relationship. Perhaps I am just annoyed because I spent my holiday season sick with the cold followed by the flu and completed with physical therapy thanks to icy conditions.
